Leos extraordinary performance as the mechanical calibration lead technician has resulted in increased productivity, motivation and output in the mechanical calibration group. He has demonstrated the vision and innovation to upgrade the groups capability to a state-of-the-art operation. He has developed many innovative ideas and test methods in support of the White Sands Test Facility, the shuttle and the International Space Station. Leo is a key asset to the core purpose of the site, capturing and recording accurate test data.


Maria Elena Bush Defense Contract Management Agency
Maria Elena Bush, DCMA, ATK Thiokol
Maria Elena initiative to negotiate a Letter of Delegation (LoD) between NASA and DCMA ATK Thiokol on ATK's contract to design/fabricate and deliver RCC repair kits - a key element for program success! Her contributions to the RCC program inspection/acceptance processes enabled ATK Thiokol to deliver quality RCC hardware to JSC and to meet RTF Certification of Flight Readiness Review milestones.


Lora Dunn Headquarters
Lora Dunn, Human Resources Management
Ms. Dunn consistently provides outstanding support to the Human Resources Management at NASA Headquarters. She administers the checkout process for detailees assigned to the Space Shuttle and International Space Station programs as well as being a great advocate for the space flight program.


Michael E. Brown Dryden Research Center
Michael E. Brown, Edwards Air Force Base
Michael has served as the Air Traffic lead for all operations of space shuttle support for the last two years at Edwards Air Force Base. During this period he has actively supported the preparations and execution of the Return to Flight of Discovery, serving in the tower coordinating all airfield activity. He has been instrumental in training mission execution, ensuring the availability of the Air Traffic Controller force to support after hours requirements as well as weekend exercises. Michaels outstanding efforts have steadfastly ensured space shuttle success.


Jacqueline Lovely Yancy Johnson Space Center
Jacqueline Lovely Yancy, Barrios Technology
Jacqueline is a dedicated member of the Mission Integration Contract (MIC) and has built a reputation as a no-nonsense proponent of quality and continuous improvement in the configuration management arena across the entire International Space Station (ISS) program. Her area of expertise focuses on configuration of the multitude of documents associated with the ISS program. It is estimated that her efforts have saved over 1,900 work hours per year. Jacquelines dedication and support to the space program is exemplary.
