The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Space Flight Awareness (SFA) Silver Snoopy award best symbolizes the intent and spirit of the SFA program. This is the astronauts’ own award for outstanding performance in ensuring flight safety and mission success. Fewer than one percent of the aerospace program workforce receive this award annually. This award must be presented and pinned by an active NASA astronaut.
